Caroline Fraser is an American nonfiction author and former New Yorker editor who holds a Ph.D. in English and American literature from Harvard. She has written widely for major literary publications and is the author of books including the Pulitzer Prize-winning Prairie Fires, a biography of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Murderland, a history of serial killers and crime in the Pacific Northwest. She also edited the Library of America edition of Wilder’s Little House books.
