John Leake is an American nonfiction author whose writing focuses on medical history, forensic science, criminology, and investigative true crime. After studying history and philosophy at Boston University, he lived in Vienna for more than a decade as a freelance writer and translator. His books include Entering Hades: The Double Life of a Serial Killer, Cold a Long Time: An Alpine Mystery, The Meaning of Malice, and, with Peter McCullough, The Courage to Face COVID-19 and Vaccines: Mythology, Ideology, and Reality.
