Bryan Burrough is an American journalist and nonfiction author who began his writing career as an investigative reporter for The Wall Street Journal. He later became a longtime special correspondent at Vanity Fair and has written or co-written eight books, including the bestseller Barbarians at the Gate, as well as Public Enemies, The Big Rich, Days of Rage, Forget the Alamo, and The Gunfighters.
