Marisa Kashino is a journalist-turned-novelist who spent 17 years in journalism, most recently at The Washington Post. She spent much of her career at Washingtonian magazine, writing long-form features and overseeing real-estate and home-design coverage. Her debut novel, Best Offer Wins, is a darkly humorous thriller inspired in part by her experience covering competitive housing markets.
