Ari Surdoval is a writer, editor, and communications professional based near Nashville. He previously served as managing editor of Performing Songwriter magazine and editorial director at Gibson Guitar before becoming an independent writer in 2007. He published his debut novel, Double Nickels, in 2020 and later co-authored Mike Campbell’s rock memoir Heartbreaker.
