Gail Honeyman is a Scottish novelist and graduate of the universities of Glasgow and Oxford. After working in civil service and university administration, she took a Faber Academy writing course and developed the manuscript for her debut novel, Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine. Published in 2017, the novel became an international bestseller and won the Costa First Novel Award.
