Karen Berman (June 1962–July 2013) was a business-literacy expert, consultant, and cofounder of the Business Literacy Institute. She coauthored Financial Intelligence with Joe Knight and John Case, followed by related books for entrepreneurs, HR and IT professionals, as well as a comic-book adaptation. Her writing focused on making finance and accounting understandable to nonfinancial managers and business owners.
