L. S. Hilton is the pen name of British author and historian Lisa Hilton. After studying English at Oxford and art history in Paris and Florence, she worked as a journalist, art critic, and broadcaster before turning to fiction. Her writing career includes the internationally bestselling Maestra thriller trilogy—Maestra, Domina, and Ultima—as well as the psychological thriller The Model.
