Amanda Geard is an Australian-born author and exploration geologist who now lives in County Kerry, Ireland. Her writing has appeared in publications including The Irish Times, The Journal, Writing.ie, Nordic Reach and Vertical Magazine; her short story "Not Yet Recycled" won the New Irish Writing Award in 2019. She is the author of the historical novels The Midnight House, The Moon Gate and The Glass Key, which have been translated into multiple languages.
