Alan Wallace is an American author, translator, editor, and scholar whose work focuses on Tibetan Buddhism, meditation, consciousness, and the relationship between Buddhist contemplative practices and modern science. He has authored, translated, edited, or contributed to more than forty books, including The Attention Revolution, The Four Immeasurables, Dreaming Yourself Awake, and Hidden Dimensions. He also founded the Santa Barbara Institute for Consciousness Studies and the Center for Contemplative Research.
