Luke Jennings is a British author, journalist, and former dancer who began his writing career with novels including Breach Candy, Atlantic, and Beauty Story; Atlantic was longlisted for the Booker Prize. He has also written the fishing memoir Blood Knots, co-authored ballet books, and created the Villanelle thriller series that became the basis for the television series Killing Eve. Jennings has worked as a dance critic for The Observer and contributed journalism to publications including Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, and Time.
