Steven Charles Gould is an American science-fiction author whose first published story appeared in Analog in 1980 and whose debut novel, Jumper, was published in 1992. He has written the Jumper series, including Reflex, Impulse, and Exo, as well as Wildside, Helm, Blind Waves, and 7th Sigma. Jumper was adapted into a 2008 film, and Gould has received the Hal Clement Young Adult Award and been nominated for Hugo and Nebula awards.
