Katarina Bivald is a Swedish author who worked for years as a bookseller before turning to fiction. Her debut, The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend, was published in Sweden in 2013 and became an international bestseller translated into numerous languages. She later expanded into humorous amateur-sleuth mysteries with the Berit Gardner series, including The Murders in Great Diddling and Just Another Dead Author.
