Todd May is an American philosopher and the author of eighteen books, spanning scholarly works on continental philosophy, poststructuralism, and anarchism as well as accessible books on ethics, meaning, suffering, vulnerability, and death. His recent titles include A Fragile Life, A Decent Life, and Should We Go Extinct? He teaches philosophy at Warren Wilson College and has also written for general audiences, including as an original contributor to The New York Times philosophy blog The Stone.
