Cay Rademacher (born 1965 in Flensburg, Germany) is a journalist and author who has written for GEO and Die Zeit and has been an editor at GEO since 1999. He helped establish the history magazine GEO Epoche and began publishing historical crime novels in 1996. He is best known for the postwar Hamburg series featuring Inspector Frank Stave and the Provence crime series featuring Capitaine Roger Blanc; he also writes historical nonfiction and lives with his family in Provence.
