Sandy Mitchell is the pen name of British writer Alex Stewart, who has worked as a full-time writer since the mid-1980s. He is best known for Games Workshop’s Black Library tie-in fiction, especially the Warhammer 40,000 Ciaphas Cain series, and has also written Warhammer Fantasy fiction, roleplaying-game material, television scripts, comics, short stories, and magazine articles.
