Sue Elliott is a British freelance writer and author of nonfiction focused on recent social history. She has written eight books, including oral and narrative histories, a dramatised biography and a memoir-history, often collaborating with documentary filmmaker and oral historian Steve Humphries of Testimony Films. Her writing career followed work in teaching, commercial broadcasting policy and regulation, public affairs and freelance communications.
