John Tierney is an American journalist and author who worked as a reporter and columnist for The New York Times, where he wrote the “Findings” science column and the TierneyLab blog. He is a contributing editor to City Journal and has written award-winning science journalism for magazines and newspapers. His books include the psychology and self-improvement works Willpower and The Power of Bad, as well as the satirical business novel God Is My Broker, co-written with Christopher Buckley.
