Garrard Conley is an American writer best known for the New York Times bestselling memoir Boy Erased, which was adapted into a 2018 feature film. He is also the author of the historical novel All the World Beside, co-creator of the podcast UnErased, and an associate professor of creative writing at Kennesaw State University. His essays and criticism have appeared in publications including The New York Times, Oxford American, Time, and Virginia Quarterly Review.
