Victoria Cribb is a literary translator from Icelandic to English who became a full-time translator in 2002 after studying and working in Iceland. She has translated more than 50 books by Icelandic writers, including crime fiction by Arnaldur Indriðason, Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, Ragnar Jónasson, and Eva Björg Ægisdóttir, as well as literary works by Sjón and others. Her translations have won and been shortlisted for major awards, and she received Iceland’s Orðstír honorary translation prize in 2017.
