Eva Björg Ægisdóttir is an Icelandic crime fiction author born in Akranes in 1988. She began writing after returning from graduate studies in Norway, and her debut novel, The Creak on the Stairs, won Iceland’s Svartfuglinn competition and the CWA New Blood Dagger. Her acclaimed Forbidden Iceland series has been translated into more than 20 languages, and she also writes standalone psychological crime novels.
