Brian Conaghan is an award-winning Scottish author of young adult and middle-grade fiction. His novels focus on the lives and relationships of working-class teenagers and characters living on society’s margins. His work includes When Mr Dog Bites, The Bombs That Brought Us Together, The Weight of a Thousand Feathers, We Come Apart, The M Word and Treacle Town; he is also a screenwriter and previously taught English, Theatre Studies and Classics in Scotland, Italy and Ireland.
