Scott Eyman is an American author, film historian, biographer, and critic best known for books about Hollywood and its major stars, filmmakers, and studios. He has written or coauthored eighteen books, including biographies of John Wayne, Cary Grant, Joan Crawford, and Louis B. Mayer, as well as histories of figures such as John Ford and Ernst Lubitsch. Formerly the literary critic of The Palm Beach Post, he has also written for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Film Comment.
