Luis Carlos Montalván was a New York Times bestselling author, journalist, and Iraq War veteran. His memoir Until Tuesday, co-written with Bret Witter, chronicled his recovery from combat injuries and PTSD with the help of his service dog, Tuesday. He also co-wrote the memoir Tuesday's Promise with Ellis Henican and wrote children's nonfiction books about veterans, service dogs, and the human-animal bond.
