Mary Smythe is a South Carolina-based author and homemaker with a BA in English. She has been writing since 2001 and began publishing Jane Austen fan fiction in 2018 after a lifelong enthusiasm for Austen’s novels. Her work focuses primarily on character-driven variations of Pride and Prejudice, including the In Love with Mr Darcy and Happily Ever Afterlife series, as well as shorter works and collaborations.
