Jan Ashton is a former journalist who writes and edits Jane Austen variations, Regency romances, and contemporary romances. She is a life member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and co-founder of Quills & Quartos Publishing, an independent publisher of romantic historical fiction and Austen-inspired stories. Her published work includes Pride and Prejudice variations such as Some Natural Importance, Mendacity & Mourning, The Most Interesting Man in the World, Mr Darcy's Second Chance, and Mr Darcy's Quizzing Glass.
