Linda Wilgus is a Dutch-born author of historical fiction who grew up in the Netherlands and later lived in Italy, Belgium, the United States, and the United Kingdom. A University of Amsterdam graduate, she worked as a bookseller and knitting-pattern designer before becoming a full-time writer; her short stories have appeared in literary magazines. Her debut novel, The Sea Child, blends Cornish history, folklore, romance, and mystery.
