Michel Bussi is a French novelist whose first book, Code Lupin, was published in 2006. He gained major recognition with Black Water Lilies in 2011 and has since become one of France’s best-known crime and thriller writers, publishing internationally translated novels often set in Normandy and noted for intricate mysteries, psychological tension, and surprise endings. He is also a geography professor at the University of Rouen.
