Monty Don OBE is a British garden writer, broadcaster, and author who began publishing books in 1990. He has written more than 20 books, including practical gardening guides, garden-travel books, essays, and memoirs such as The Complete Gardener, My Garden World, Down to Earth, and Nigel: My Family and Other Dogs. He has also written regular gardening columns and contributed introductions to collections of garden poetry.
