Steven Levitsky is a Harvard political scientist and prolific nonfiction author whose writing focuses on democratization, authoritarianism, political parties, and institutional change, especially in Latin America. He has written or edited numerous books, including How Democracies Die with Daniel Ziblatt, Tyranny of the Minority with Ziblatt, Competitive Authoritarianism with Lucan Way, and Revolution and Dictatorship with Way.
