Marcus Hünnebeck, born in Bochum in 1971, studied economics before becoming a writer. His first thriller, Verräterisches Profil, appeared in 2001, followed by further crime novels including Wenn jede Minute zählt and Im Visier des Stalkers. Since 2013, he has primarily published independently and has built a prolific career writing interconnected crime and thriller series, including Drosten & Sommer and Till Buchinger.
