Her first novel, Daddy’s Little Girl, was published in 2007, launching a career in African American urban fiction. She is best known for the Black Diamond trilogy and has also written Sugar Walls, Cover Girl, Hell on Heels, Carl Weber’s Kingpins: Philadelphia, and The Streets Keep Pulling Me Back.
