She created Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, Bridgerton, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, and wrote screenplays including The Princess Diaries 2 and Crossroads. Her books include the memoir Year of Yes and the historical romance Queen Charlotte, co-written with Julia Quinn.
