Nick Adams grew up near Maidstone, Kent, England, and developed an early passion for NASA, space exploration, and science fiction. After serving in the British Army and later managing village pubs, he moved to Brisbane, Australia, where he began writing science fiction and created The Fold space-opera series. He later returned to the UK and expanded his work with the Bache Loftt and Cedric LeRoy series.
