Fred Phillips has been writing stories since elementary school and earned a journalism degree from Louisiana Tech University. He spent 20 years as an award-winning newspaper writer and editor, where he also covered heavy metal and speculative fiction, before moving into corporate communications. He now writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror, including novels and short fiction published by presses such as Raconteur Press, Three Ravens Publishing, and Dragon Soul Press.
