He is the author of Goliath, Riot Baby, the War Girls series, and the Beasts Made of Night series, and his short fiction has appeared in major science-fiction and fantasy anthologies. His work frequently explores race, class, colonialism, structural violence, and Black identity through Afrofuturist and socially engaged storytelling.
