Thick as Thieves

Fourteen-year-old Andrea Carter is passionate about riding her beloved palomino, Taffy, on the busy Circle C ranch in 1882. As life becomes more complicated with school, chores, and Taffy's foaling, Andrea faces new challenges, including a difficult classmate and the threat of cattle rustling in the valley. When horses are stolen from her family’s ranch, Andrea must decide whether to trust her new, unruly seatmate to help her recover what she’s lost.
