The Unreconciled

In a post-apocalyptic America ruled by a caliph following a Christian holocaust, archaeologist Denisa Graceon is hired to find Christian relics amidst a landscape transformed into a nightmare. Her journey takes her from the University of Virginia to the Appalachian wilderness, where she encounters the last remaining American Christians and becomes deeply immersed in their faith. As she uncovers the relics and forms bonds with the resistant group, she faces growing awareness of a looming threat, leading to a pivotal realization about her role in their survival.
