Aaliyah, a 13-year-old Muslim girl living in the Midlands, navigates her daily life filled with her love for books, shoes, and K-pop until a terrorist attack and rising racial tensions begin to impact her community. When she chooses to wear a hijab to challenge stereotypes, she faces opposition and bullying, leading her to feel isolated. As she recognizes that many young people struggle with identity and acceptance, Aaliyah finds courage to speak out and seek allies, aiming to challenge hatred and foster understanding.
