College sophomore Mitch Greyson is determined to succeed as a professional hockey player despite a demanding schedule and academic challenges, leading him to seek tutoring help. NHL defenseman Alex Dean, currently injured and spending time with family, unexpectedly becomes Mitch’s mentor, uncovering more beneath Mitch's confident exterior. As they form a connection, both face fears about risking their careers and futures, making their blossoming relationship seem unlikely but perhaps worth the risk.
