Dancers, Quitters, and Garden Gnomes

Alyssa is a dedicated dancer new to town, determined to succeed with a supportive approach after her past experiences with mean dance teams. She begins a date with Thayer, a charismatic boy who is hiding his true identity and motives, unaware of her background. Thayer, tired of his usual crowd, accepts a challenge to date a "regular girl" with only twelve dollars to spend, leading him to Alyssa, a scholarship dancer from Manhattan. Their story explores themes of honesty, identity, and the challenges of genuine connection.
