Recruited by Aliens

After a near-death experience, Rommie finds herself on a spaceship, where she is recruited by advanced aliens to train as a fighter against galactic invaders. These extraterrestrial beings scout near-death individuals from less advanced planets to join their fight, offering them a chance at a new, combative life. Through her training and interactions, Rommie learns that embracing a warrior's path can be more challenging than accepting death.
