The Dala Horse

The Dala Horse follows ten-year-old Kaya Olson, who lives in a Norwegian immigrant community in post-Civil War Texas. When her mother is killed in a stagecoach robbery, Kaya begins a quest to uncover family secrets that may help solve the mystery of her mother's death.
