Blood Feud

Set in 1067 Northumbria, this story follows Oslac, a honorable thegn driven by a desire for revenge over a longstanding feud with the Danes, which has recently claimed his brother’s life. As William of Normandy consolidates power over England, Oslac is drawn into a wider conflict involving his cousin, the Earl of Northumbria, and the new, despised earl appointed by William. The narrative explores Oslac’s journey from personal vengeance to the larger struggles of loyalty and war during a turbulent period of English history.
