AniZombie

A meteorite impact in the Tennessee River introduces parasitic microbes into the water, which eventually find their way into the human food chain and spark a zombie apocalypse. The story follows the initial outbreak as a series of events begins with a mysterious 911 call and the subsequent reanimation of a deceased man, Roy Akins, whose body becomes a host for the microbes. As Roy awakens with an insatiable hunger, it marks the start of a rapidly spreading threat that changes the landscape of the community.
