City of Bones

Fifteen-year-old Clary Fray unexpectedly witnesses a murder at the Pandemonium Club in New York City, only to see the body vanish into thin air. She is soon introduced to the hidden world of Shadowhunters, fierce warriors fighting to keep demons out of our world, after her mother goes missing and she encounters danger herself. As Clary learns more about her surroundings, she begins to uncover secrets about her identity and the supernatural forces at play.
