Lenth's world is confined within an enclosed habitat where four brothers live under the watchful eye of the silent Rubberman, experiencing discipline and routine. When tragedy strikes and a brother dies, they confront the reality of mortality and replacement. As cracks appear in their ceiling, prompting questions about their existence, Lenth plans a daring journey beyond their known universe to explore a mysterious third floor above.
