Three ancient talismans disappear one by one, leading to accusations and setbacks for their possessors, Columba Riverford, Aridisia Myric, and Baron Marl Gneiss. As they are banished and set out to retrieve the stolen artifacts, an ancient evil looms with intentions to destroy the Order of Magic and claim the talismans for itself. The story follows their quest to clear their names and confront the growing threat.
