The Fifteen Streets

Life on the Fifteen Streets follows John O'Brien, who grows up amid poverty and hardship in the Fifteen Streets, working on the docks and trying to protect his loved ones. He meets Mary Llewellyn, a wealthy and compassionate teacher with visions of helping others escape destitution through education. A chance encounter sparks a rare romance, but social and personal obstacles threaten to keep them apart, testing the limits of their connection.
