A False Proposal

In London, 1812, war hero Adam Grey returns with ambitions to enter Parliament but faces obstacles from his dissolute father and local politics. To navigate these challenges, he convinces Cass Linford, a woman with her own heartbreak, to enter a fake engagement with him. As their arrangement progresses, unexpected feelings develop, complicating their plans and adding emotional depth to their political maneuvering.
